hi guys ive swapped a 73 fj45 windscreen to a 1982 fj45 windscreen and need someone to tell me how to wire the wiper control box it has a 4 plug and a single plug with white and black whire

I just did this... sort-of. Do you have the intermittent wiper? We didn't get those in the USA. I had a buddy send one to me from OZ and I figured out how to wire it... but I'll have to look at it again to get the right schematic. I went cross-eyed staring atr the schematic and making it match my wiring.
Older switches were grounded where the power came from the fuse panel to the motor and the switch was the end of the line and power flowed through the switch after the motor.
The later intermittent wipers had a motor like the 60 series where it was powered through the switch first (power to the switch then to the wiper relay) then to the motor to ground. The power in on the newer switch is the same pin as the ground on the old ones.
If you are going from an old style 2 speed wiper (low-high) to an intermittent one, then you will have to change out the motor to an older one or get a newer intermittent switch and corresponding motor then wire it up by tapping power from a source on the harness (ignition).
Clear as mud?
I'll be doing a write-up when I can get to putting in the FJ60 wiper motor.
