^ That looks goood!

Damn, what kind of wheels are those and what size tires?? That thing looks beast! Except for the running boards though!:flipoff2:

Going to play with gloss black today. If this doesn't look good I will respray with a coat of gunmetal grey.

Could you let me know how easy it is to get the side panels off as i would be keen to have a go. Are they cliped or glued on?

Please post some good (meaning WAY larger) pics of the trim. Also, you might want to start a thread on how to Plasti-Dip your trim. If it looks as good as I think it will, I am doing it this weekend.

you mean his grille? The rest looks factory, maybe he did the tailgate trim as well.

Plasti Dip is cool stuff. I've seen people paint right over chrome and paint wheels with it without any prep work. The LX above looks like the front grille only was done and not the side body trim molding / cladding. Plasti Dip is also only available in limited colors (black, white, red, yellow, etc) see here:
Plasti Dip Protective Coating Products | Synthetic Rubber Dip Coating
If you want a different color you have to mix your own.

That was was broken/torn off on a trail ride. I have been glueing it and taping it back on for a while and I have recently been interested in a different color.

There are 2 slide clips and 2 unusable, once you break the white clips you will need to re-order them. I don't think toyota sells them seperatley.

Wow. Almost 1 year thread revival. How hard to remove trim?

Sorry for my late response, first of all I'd like to thank Pfran for supplying me the interior Led bulbs for this build up.
Got those wheels from a wheel shop in Costa Mesa CA for $65 each with 0 offset (4.5" backspacing) therefore I don't need to use any spacer for those 315/75-16 KM's
I used Plasti Dip on all of the emblems and trims, the best thing of using this stuff is you don't even have to take off the emblems, just tape it about 1" around the emblems or trims and spray it 2-3 times, wait for 30 minutes then use a toothpick to peel off the excessive around the emblems and trims....than you're done !
Btw, all the rear emblems was done by my 12 years old son, which show some imperfection. But my point is if my son can do it, any body can......
Hope this help.

My buddy did his wheel without having to take the wheel off the car and the tire of the wheel.... Just a couple of spray can Plasti dip.

From the first picture, they kind of look like 6 lugs? Do you have more pictures and specs on them?

They are 16x8 with a 5x150 bolt pattern (4.5" back spacing) made by MST. Got them from www.signatureptw.com

Here are pics of the wheel, I spray painted only the front part of the wheels
