Black Trim?

I was actually thinking about only doing the middle strip of the trim that is cloudy and not the whole trim piece. Anyone have a picture of this color with just the middle part of the trim blacked out.

My center strip is a dark grey. I was actually going to paint it flat black last year, I used a dark grey primer and liked the way it looked, so I left it there primed. Still looks good. Here is a pic

I also photoshopped a pic of what loud is talking about... here is a preview as well. I still like the classic look without all the 2 tone stuff. I think I'll keep it stock for now.

i've got a silver cruiser as well and have thought about painting my flaky trim. with the sheet metal below it painted to match, it looks nice; but the trim by itself just sticks out too much. i was thinking of doing some type of dark grey over a spray bedliner for texture.

Regarding vehilce wrap, I've had my black wrap for almost 2 years now. I "blacked out" all my chrome and wrapped the tupperware side panels.

Its now peeling in places, and, unfortunately, looks like I applied vehicle wrap--which is not a good thing.

I would stay away from the stuff in the future. When it gets really bad, I may just go for the rhino liner stuff, and hopefully that will adhere better and last longer.

Paint the trim a textured metallic silver. The textured paint will cover your imperfections and contrast the 100's paint job. Not sure what silver / gray colors Linex could do but that would look good too if you want to drop $$$...

Paint the rear bumper black too
