Anyone run Black Rhino Armory wheels in 17x9.5s? I want to run these with 37x12.50r17 tires. They come in variations of backspacing but the most backspacing available is 3.25 BS (-44mm) so with a .5 hubcentric wheel spacer it should be about the perfect 2.75 BS.

I am wondering if they are compatible with the manual locking hubs on my 1980 FJ40. I can't find any information on the center bore size. I only see these type of wheels used on newer auto locking 4x4 vehicles like jeeps and ford trucks that don't have the manual hub that protrudes out. I guess I can call them but figured I would ask you guys for real world applications...

Here is the link to the wheels: Armory Truck Rims by Black Rhino

If you guys have any pics with 37x12.50r17 tires and 17x9 rims with -2.75 to -3.25 BS I would appreciate you posting them I would like to see how the "stance" looks.

TIA
Morgan

I believe the center hole needs to a little over 4".

That’s correct. Most people have it bored out from what I’ve read.
the armory rim went right on my 80 no probs. only downfall is they are so deep cant see lug nuts and it covers entire front hubs.
