New project for me and kinda a build thread hopefully . Saved from the scrap metal collectors. Maybe I should have left it for them. It has been sitting in a shed for several years.
A little different from most builds not a restoration or likley to be shiny anywhere.
First stage was towing it home went without to many issues other than we got attacked by bees. The hand winch got it on the trailer with two flat tires just.
Its was at some point a bj7x with a frp top and has had most of the body cut of and a timber bed added for transporting timber around a rural property. Which is pretty much what I plan to use it for.
Currently has a 13bt and a 5 speed.
Radiator is missing. Oil is clean and its not sized.
Not sure if it goes so that's the first thing to get onto.

If it will run then
In no particular order
Tires all very badly dry rotted
Better seat have a spare out of a 60 series
Brakes don't work at all and handbrake cable is cut lever missing
Find a radiator
Has pto cradle and drive unit I have a Winch not being used so just need a driveshaft.
Then use if for getting logs and firewood around the property
A rollbar of some sort and another seat would be nice to. It'll probably be slow going.

Anyhow one step closer put a couple of battery's in found a spare cable in the parts pile to join them together. Crossed my finger turned the key and it fired straight up. Shut down is a pull cablenothing to go wrong there.
Drives forward and back clutch is heavy compared to the vac assisted one in the 60. Brakes do nothing.
Definitly need a radiator and tires

Found the chassis number under some
Dirt and rust its a bj74 and looks like only number 20.
