My 1985 BJ73 has seats from an LJ mounted.
Those are due for a rebuild, though. As I have to go for it, I consider having the covers done to match the original design.
- Can anybody provide me some pics on what the original seats looked like?
My interior is light grey vinyl.

Thanks and Best regards

Probably the same as the 75 series grey . The 73/74 series had cloth seats in most markets, but the PZJ7* that come into Australia in 1990 had grey vinyl seats and floor

Thanks all. That helps :D
They were the original “heated and cooled seats” and were very advanced considering the time frame. 😊

What kind of other seats fit in a 73? I may be buying a 1988 bj73 and it Has some sort of ugly recaro style seats. Will seats out of a seam your Celica work or maybe out of a late 80s Toyota pick up?

The seat rails of the BJ70/73 are not level left to right. And we need the swing function to the back. To my knowledge only seats from a 78/79 (may) bold in straight away.
