Hey guys, I came across a guy last weekend at 4x4 swapmeet in WA and he has 2 mid 80's, I think they are the 70 model with 3b diesel label on motor. Vehicles are left hand drive from some U.S. deal in the Phillipines. The one I saw was completely rusted out but all there, the other one he said was better condition and could combine both. No titles, vehicles were going to scrap when this guy found them. He thought they looked cool, anyways both might be had for $700-$1000. Are they a good deal or headache? Neither run but are complete with manual trans and looked like 16" split rims. Always wanted a diesel but I already have 3 cruisers. Thanks

If you can make one good powertrain out of them, you can sell if for a few K for a conversion. Or convert something of your own.
