Most split tranfer case PTOs are single direction. Keep you pre 8/80 PTO and and can probably convert a single to a forward reverse style using parts off your current PTO. if your looking to be 100% correct the PTO changed 10/82 on the 4X series. That's my plan for my single direction. One brass bushing needs to be cut down and a few shafts modified or replaced.
