A few pics of my LX with Bumpit Offroad's step sliders. I'm not a heavy wheeler but I'm on forest service roads quite a bit so wanted some insurance. I also needed the functionality of a nice big step for my kids and passengers. BIO's quality is excellent and the looks are great on my (mostly) stock rig. Mike's service is second to none - great communication and problem solving.

I also chose to install front OEM flaps rather than reinstall the trim piece that originally wrapped the boards. Trimming the flaps was pretty straight forward with a fresh blade and utility knife.

They use U-bolts, pretty easy the d/s rear one is probably the hardest to get the facotry running boards off and to get a tool up there to bolt it on but not to bad. There was a thread on here not to long ago about a good tool to use to remove the factory running boards.

If you want some pics I can try and get some for you.

How much are these? Where did you guys buy them?

Sweet, thank you.

No shots of them from underneath but these might help. The USDS slider and the mounting plate and ubolt. The brake lines have to be spaced away from the frame on the USDS for the ubolts.

You may want to trim your mudflaps, I've seen them get jammed upwards and remove the fender flares

X2 - What little debris that the OEM mudflap extensions knock down below your sliders is no trade off for the damage that will occur if they get hung up or mangled. Jrob80's done the same thing I did with my F.O.R. sliders that Frankie designed to blend with my tube type sliders. The OEM mudflaps may work and look well on pavement, but look out when you hit the dirt.

Thanks for the advice. I'll keep that in mind. My motivation behind the flaps was to keep debris/slush/water from the cat area.

Thanks to both Jrob80 and 450 Cruiser...

Did your BIO sliders come with a cat guard or skidplate? Gravel & road debris will get kicked up on the plate - no way to stop it. The cat needs an air flow to dissipate the heat so it has to remain open enough for ventilation. Just regularly clean off the top of the cat guard/plate. The moisture and slush will just evaporate from the heat, but when running in deep snow, keep an eye on how its packing under your rig. Usually, it takes care of itself, but when running for several days, the freeze/thaw cycle can cause funny noises and even seen it temporarily seize up auto tranny linkage in extreme cases. Side pic of my setup, you can see cat skidplate under rig:

What coating or finish do you have on them? Is step slippery when wet. I have Slee step sliders and repainted them and there a bit slippery looking for options for non skid that's not grip tape. Thanks

Mine have a rough texture powder coat finish that is not slippery when wet. It's not grip tape like friction but I have not slipped on them yet.
