Which rear springs did you do?
I wonder if the Non-Hd will be fine with my 24gal LRA. I just don't want that squat look. The regular (not HD) Bilstien with the kit
I also ordered a set of the OME progressive ones (for the #) for down the road once get my storage drawers and such, but that won’t be for awhile

Mine is only a 2 row and would probably do the 3rd perchWhat perch will you be on up front? And do you have 3rd row in still?
Non HD is the one to go with.I wonder if the Non-Hd will be fine with my 24gal LRA. I just don't want that squat look.
How is the ride on those HD springs when it's just two adults in the truck?Just switched out my standard Bilstein rear springs for the HD ones - Had 3 adults in the back on the way to a baseball game and it was a noticeable difference over the Standard springs. A lot more planted and the ride felt more controlled.
Height went from 22 inches to 23 from center hub to inner rear fender. (on the 5th perch in front - may go up one more)
Recommend these if anyone's interested

He is my neighbor. How is the ride on those HD springs when it's just two adults in the truck?
He is my neighbor.
I think if you ride it fully loaded, the HD makes sense.
I can tell you, going from stock to regular Bilstein - albeit controlled there is some added harshness and bounciness on an unloaded truck. I can't imagine how the HD feels unloaded.
I currently have the Ironman FCP with Ironman rear springs. If it’s any more plush then these, I’ll be happy. He is my neighbor.

I rode in 7 diff cruisers (200 series), before spending time with @777Gage who convinced me to go Bilsteins. Best decision of my 200I currently have the Ironman FCP with Ironman rear springs. If it’s any more plush then these, I’ll be happy.
The HD springs are good, it does give me approx 1 inch more lift in the rear. I've loaded it down and it rides well, and honestly unloaded I don't notice it much more. How is the ride on those HD springs when it's just two adults in the truck?
Alright, sold! I’m ordering the fronts and rears. I guess I’ll get the base Bilsteins springs. Hopefully on road trips they won’t sag with my loaded 24gal. I’m leaning towards the HD springs then. I generally run around with 250lbs in the rear. I just don’t want a jittery or bouncy feel because the rear isn’t heavy enough. The HD springs are good, it does give me approx 1 inch more lift in the rear. Also, would say I'm not very sensitive when it comes to that kind of thing.
Unless we are talking about a OME Suspension in 4Runners - my wife didn't let me get 10 miles before she said undo whatever you did to this. (a 5th Gen 4Runner we had)
Very pleased with the Bilstein set-up!
That's the direction I'd push you as well. You will sag hardcore on trips. I'm an LX so naturally a little heavier, but 3rd row deleted ~60 lbs and also deleted all AHC components ~170 lbs. So probably closer to your weight. Had non-HD and now the HD. 4th perch up front.I’m leaning towards the HD springs then. I generally run around with 250lbs in the rear. With non-HD I had about .5" of rake. With the 3rd perch you might have closer to 1" of rake. With 200 lbs in the rear I would already sag a tiny bit. About .25". The amount of sag I'd get with a full load was atrocious. Approx 1,000 lbs of load would sag me 2+" in the rear. For our trips we're either 4 adults and gear or 2 adults, 3 70lb dogs, and gear.
Swapped to HD and now have 1.5" of rake. Under full load I still have a little bit of sag but nowhere near the same amount. Maybe .5" or a full 1" if really laden. Much more acceptable. That I plan to augment with some supersprings coil helpers as needed.
Ride quality unladen is firmer for sure but I wouldn't call it harsh. I'd use the word supportive. The non-HD almost felt a little too soft and spongy imo.
All that being said, I've got a set of lightly used (like 4,000 miles) non-HD bilstein rear springs that I've not been able to get rid of for like 6 months now. If anyone wants them they're yours if you cover the cost of shipping (or if you are local and want to pick them up).
Thank you for detailed reply. This certainly helps. You mind sharing a side profile of your truck unladen? Any negatives going to the 4th perch over the 3rd?That's the direction I'd push you as well. By going to the 4th you add more preload so the front will be a little stiffer. Static ride height is higher so you lose a small amount of droop as well (in favor of uptravel). I didn't try the 3rd, just went straight to the 4th so I can't speak to it much, but I suspect it's not a huge huge difference.Any negatives going to the 4th perch over the 3rd?
