Thanks for the warm welcome last night everyone, seem to be a great bunch of guys. Thanks to the gentlemen that loaned me to knuckle tool (I told you guys that I would forget names by next month!!), that was unexpected for you to offer up the tool so fast, again thank you. I look forward to meeting up again next month, and hopefully hitting some trails with you guys soon.

Until next time
Hopefully I get my 40 on the road in time to chase some trout in PA!

Thanks,
Ryan

Glad you made the trip down. Yes they are a good group. This is the second club i've blonged to and it's funny how similar all cruiser heads are. I look forward to some trail rides and maybe a fly fishing trip as i am a dedicated al-be-it struggling, fly fisher.
Cheers,
Stump (the bald guy sitting to your right)

Ryan, good to meet you and Steve; welcome to the club!

We had a small turn out, relative to the past few months. Hopefully it was just the "season" and many guys are busy doing otherwise--family stuff, wrenching, over-time at work, etc.

I recommend doing the knuckle measurement three times.
That's not technical advise it just seams thats the average number of times it takes to do mods on a 40.
Take it slow and you'll be stoping on a dime in no time.

Cool, thanks for the advise. Now if I can get enough free time tomorrow to demo the old and rebuild with the new!
