rankenstein,
I will will keep an eye for a spot for you for sure. The family and I will be staying in the same cabin as we did last year and there was a ton of room over there if things fill up.
Brian,
Thanks for the update, I have beeen wondering of they where putting restrictions on up there. We have been fighting a couple grass fires a day down here and its not looking to get any better. We are just hoping to get through the 4th will no major problems. I will plan on bringing a few of our old empty buckets of foam they hold 5 gal and have a small pour lid so they seal up tight if some peole need extra or forget.
Goerge and rankenstien if either day you guys would like to go see the tougher trails let me know. The family is planning on one day and then I will probably be by myself on the days I do the tougher trails so there will be plenty of room.
Cant wait to get there and do some:steer::cheers::cheers:

Looks like there will be a few of us heading out. We will probably get there the Friday before the event, and leave Sunday or Monday after the event.

Looking forward to it!

possibility that pighead and i will show up to do a mudship...getting a door from bk and bringing it back to denver. not bringing a wheeling rig, just popping up for a night or two maybe ride with folks.

Oh come on! Bring the 80. I need to see Todd weep.

We plan on getting there Wednesday too. I am sure people will have room for a passenger I know I will a couple days.

So is it still a go for now?

We had some rain and the Forest Service lowered the fire danger from extreme to moderate!!

at what level of caution can we have fires in the campground?? or is there no chance in that happening??

Bfletch, i tried to get booker to come down and he is way to busy with a house they just bought doing renovations and such.. actually, i was really hoping for more of us to come from Saskatchewan but its a wierd year for everyone and it just didnt work out. i am sure we will have a better turn out next year.. i know i sure want to be back!!

Jefishing, i forgot that you got the cabin.. we thought about it for a second but never got around to renting one.. plus we have our rooftop tent now to sleep in.. i think my wife Lori is going to take the cruiser exploring and to do some geocaching one day so if you have a spare seat i would love to sit with ya.. you might even get a few pics from me too..

Jason.

As of now the fire restriction order is still in place so there are no campfires allowed. Make sure and bring a stove or you can come over to my camper and use mine!!

You get your 5vz 40 done

I want a ride!

You want to beat the stock trucks up for the classic! Im getting my new marlin clutch put in this week!

I have been trying to get it done but I don't think it will be ready by Thursday. Maybe if I did not mess around all winter and wait for the last minute:doh:!

We made it to davenport Iowa last night, going to hit the road after getting some breakfast. Plan on spending tonight in Sioux Falls or Mitchel. Any input on where to stay would be great.

Fwiw, had dinner at "Mo Brady's" steakhouse last night. Food was excellent and the waitresses weren't hard to look at. :grinpimp:
