BFG NITTO or TOYO

Price sounds inline for a retail store. Includes tax, mounting and balancing, right?

When I put my 315/75/16 BFG KM-2's on 2 years ago they were $250 each from Tire Rack. A little over a year ago after I added my rear bumper with tire carrier I paid $330 from Amazon for a 5th 315 BFG-KM2. Price in 1 year went up $80 per tire...

I'm going to try out the Toyo AT2's, I think.

We got some snotty DC snow yesterday... a buddy and I went out to have fun on some unplowed backroads. He had Nittos on an 80 series... i had BFG AT's on my 100. BFG AT's out performed the Nittos hands down if snow is a concern/requirement. Locked the Center Diff once to get out of a gully. No ATRAC action at all.

Funny, I had BFG ATs on my old Tacoma, once thy hit 60% tread they were undriveable in the snow. Upgraded to Toyo MTs and they were 100% better all the way Down to practically bald. I would never waste my money on BFG ATs again because of that experience. That said my rock warrior tundra came stock with BFG KOs, which performed just as good as the Toyo MTs. Now I have nitto trails on my LC, and they feel as good as the KOs or toyos did. I live in Oregon, drive up nasty bad weathered roads weekly to hit the slopes. FWIW, if I remember correctly, the only tires of the three that actually carry a snow rating were the KOs.
