Another MUD member mentioned my KM2's today. I'll update you with my opinion on them.

Finally been out there wheeling again...thanks economy! :D

I want to 5X my comments about these things off road. They stick like glue and are plain amazing. After several trips out there I find the following perks their best assets:

They have great latteral hold/grip. These things just don't want to slide off rocks sideways. Huge improvement. This is my favorite perk! Stability!

They have tenacious forward and backward grip. When unlocked I can tell a big difference due to the lack of TRAC kicking in. They just grip and the thing goes. Less TRAC and less lockers = a good thing.

So far no chunking, slashes or cuts. Two of those trips were only moderate trips (though very rocky) at full pressure (35PSI).

These suckers are worth every dime they cost to me. HIGHLY recommended!

John- How many miles did you average from your A/T's?

How many do you think you will get from the KM-2's? Any comments about how the handle rain and other weather elements?

I would like to know the same. I do 10k a year. Do you think I could get 3 years/30k out of KM2s?

On-road they grip better in the rain and around turns. They're just a better tire (though noisy).

I never ran any of my AT's down. I'd trade them in for new ones and get at least some rebate before it was too late. Man they looked awful but I guess there's a market for used tires.

I think the longest set I kept was about 30-35K. So sorry I don't know the answer yet on the KM2's. Only had them about 8 months and not a lot of miles.

Did I say that they GRIP and STICK on the trails? :D

I know its not a land cruiser, but my buddies dad (07 dodge diesel) has about 55,000 miles on his KM2's. Dont ask me how, but he does. Its impressive. Oh and still has about 30- 35% tread left.

Gotta agree with Shotts! The KM2's are awesome offroad although they do dig in a little too much in sand but airing em down to around 20psi takes care of that. Im hoping I get some good life out of these too. Hey shotts, are those wheeling spots in Tuscon or Pheonix? Planning a wheeling trip soon.

Would you have any pics of the lug wear? I really like the looks of this design on this tire. IN touchng the tires, the lug compunds seems to be fairly grippy. I'm wondering if they are soft.

YouTube - MUD DIGGER

This is what we are up against down here! ahaha

Colt Ford is an interesting country singer......if you can consider him one???

The mud here in Georgia, Alabama, and Florida is f*****g nuts!! Most of the guys on here hate mud.....in Georgia you can't go wheeling and not find mud or water.

I know a guy with KM2s on a Tundra, last time i spoke to him he had almost 50k miles on them, and a good bit of tread left, and nothing but good things to say about their performance on and off road.

I plan on running KM2s when I change tires next, and depending on how it goes Ill either stick with those or switch to BFG ATs after the KM2s wear out.

I would love to know how these do in snow.... anyone had any experience? I am going 35's on my next pair of shoes with my spare rims(Spring?) and will stick with the Trxxus MT's (amazing snow performance and pretty good in just about any other condition) if someone doesn't talk me out of them. Any ideas on the KM2's in snow?

Ahhh, first were Colorado...then one was Sedona...then atop Mt. Lemmon down here. This one just above is south of Tucson.

Sweet trip I'm leading Saturday. Come on out? Box Canyon up and over the AZ Trail and down into Superior. Solid green hills everywhere from the rain. Optional challenges...some difficult. It's an amazing scenery run. ???

Dont forget SC! down here we have clay, sand, and mud!

I have driven my KM2's in light snow (3" or so) in the highlands of Lesotho (small neigbouring country known around here as the Mountain Kingdom) and they were perfectly fine.

Probably does not compare with what you have to contend with though;)
