It has never dawned on me before whether the travel direction of the tire may make a difference. I noticed this morning that the angle in the side tread of the BFG KO2s on my land cruiser and trailer are pointed in different directions (some angled forward and some angled backwards). Realize it is an effect of which side the tire is installed on the vehicle (passenger or driver side), but curious if it makes a difference and if BFG intended certain tires to be installed on the passenger side and others on the driver side. Maybe I need to give it more thought and the answer is obvious, or I'm looking at the tires with my eyes crossed.

Any thoughts from the tire experts out there?
