Stroke that chevy out to a 383, if you want fuel injection find a tpi set up on ebay... the long intake runners are great for low down torque, custom chip it, etc......

That's not instead of doing gears.... I just wanted to point out that you should do that with the 350 you are building... LOL

see if you can find some chevy cucv full size axles. Already geared to 4.56 and a locker in the 14 bolt. They are getting harder and harder to find though, but food for thought.

And then let me know what you want for the 2f.... I need it to build a 2fe project. ;)
Oh haha these are for my 22R powered ‘82 minitruck. Our ‘73 FJ40 with the mild 350 also has 35x12.50s and 4.10s and is still living in my garage.

what lift are you running? You will need a lot of lift to clear that size tire.
Without the right amount of lift you can cut your fenders all u want and it will still hit the cab.
I had lots of clearance issues with 3.5 lift. Even with cutting the fenders on both sides and hammering the s*** of the cab it was still rubbing tire pretty bad.

My only fix was to go with a bigger lift.

I’m honestly not sure what size lift I have, it was on the truck when I got it. I guess I’ll find out the hard way...
