This base model of the 2021 land cruiser with manual transmission which most of Americans don't know.
Better than the old j80 and 4runner by far.

4.0 V6 petrol with 5 speed manual transmission.

Having owned several 4runners with that same 4.0L V6 engine, I really can't imagine the 200 with that little V6 doing the job. Yes, it would move but I always thought that 4L was a real slug and the extra weight of a the 200 seems like a recipe for a good, but slow, time.

Those have been sitting awhile in a quite dusty environment.

Land cruiser 200 base model is lighter weight.
Slow in what? You'll not going to race anyone, for me I prefer it more than 5.7 automatic transmission

I saw a new 300 the other day (on a video) and it had snorkel, lockers and winch all from Toyota.

What is in the box in the cargo area?

The manual is probably more efficient. With overall lighter weight to your point, the 4.0L V6 (1GR-FE) would be okay as a base. Numbers aren't too far off from the 100-series 4.7L V8 (2UZ-FE).
Power / Horsepower270 HP @ 5600 rpm
Torque278 ft-lb @ 4400 rpm

Can you run these manuals in 2WD mode?

Also it comes with 4.5L V8 diesel manual transmission.
No only all time 4wd.

The diesel would be more fitting of course with its great bottom end torque.

The HP concern of both is a reasonable one. If we know anything about the 4R, that is not full time 4WD, is that overlanders and off-roaders will easily to build to the point that the 4.0L V6 (1GR-FE) is tepid. Combined with the higher freeway speeds in the states where HP matters.

All better option than the weak 3.5L V6 Taco. They all make it work.

We're probably all just spoiled by the 5.7L.

this one.

Id buy a 200 series with the 4.0 and manual transmission today if the incredibly corrupt and incompetent and ignorant united states Feds would get out of my way.

We can get the 4.0. We can get the 200 series. Can any rational person explain why we can't get the manual trans 4.0 LC200?
