BEST VENDOR FOR OEM PARTS FOR LC 100

Some dealerships will have a higher markup in order to offer a "discount" so don't be fooled.

For OEM parts Camelback and toyotaonlineparts offer the best prices I have found. Paying for shipping on the east coast sometimes beats "free shipping" from the west coast on total price.

Personally I've built a relationship with my local Toyota Dealer Parts over many years. Not the best price out there but good, saves me time, they're cool with me order parts I "may" need and returning if not. Additionally I always can count on genuine Toyota parts fast. I do compare price from time to time and have never felt I've over paid.

I also like ordering from members found here in mud Vendor Forums | IH8MUD Forum where prices are competitive.

I'll also buy from locals like Sleeoffroad.com - Toyota SUV Off-Road Outfitters for tools, non dealer parts and just because they are such great guys. They've also been very instrumental in building our sport (if you will) and share our love.

Sometimes I do order online when the price is just to good to pass up and time is of no issue. Like antenna mast for $18 or a $200 chrome piece for $60 from Dubai, or $3 bolt for $0.50.

For those in the Richmond, VA area, toyotaonlineparts.com is run by McGeorge Toyota on W Broad St. It's really convenient to be able to order online, but then return parts at the counter at McGeorge.

They are always the cheapest I can find online, and I've never paid more than $10 for shipping.

Have to find one that works for you. Most prefer sponsors which is a good idea. I have one that is outstanding and not a sponsor, but you may find one you like better. Shop around and call and talk to the manager of each place.

Toyota, Toyota, Toyota - what about Lexus specific parts? There must be a good discount Lexus dealer somewhere.

Most the above are great....like our mud vendors.

Most my parts come from my local dealer, been using them 25+ years. My cost is as low or lower than anyplace online, they also drop off parts for me at my friend local autoshop (and I pick up there) so no shipping charges, saves time and money..

Whomever you use, it's good to make a relationship out of it....I am pretty sure I talk to my parts guy more often than any of my friends ;)

My parts guy just retired after 28 years with toyota....so am training 2 other guys.....

I buy Toyota parts for my Lexus as well, they both come in Toyota box. Hood, grill, headlights, keys and some plastic are a few of the exception. But even those can be converted to LC style ;)

I live less than 2 miles from Camelback Toyota and think they're great. But they can't get Lexus parts, like recently a grill emblem. Parts.com was the best price but shipping was high and there was a small service charge.

I just made a +$1000 parts purchase from bochtoyotasouth.com, which was the cheapest I was able to find. S&H was a very reasonable $25. We are relatively close (within 250 miles radius) so that could explain why the shipping was so cheap. I placed the order last Friday so I'll keep you posted.

Update: I received the parts Today. On time and as scheduled... Def. will buy from them again.

I have been on the search lately but have come up empty. Anybody have any updates to this?

This helped me a lot,

Sometimes the sites I use to research the exact part number I need is not always the same place.
I prefer the detailed images and such that aren't always on ToyotaPartsOnline.com but their prices are by far the lowest I have found.

I thought I found a deal on eBay the other day and considered replacing my worn out leather transmission shift knob with a poly unit and it was about 100 bucks on eBay and then I decided to plug the part number into ToyotaPartsOnline and it was like 67 bucks. Lol...
