Hi all, first time posting on here. Was on the hunt for a GX for the past few months and was finally lucky enough to pick one up this past week (will be making an official thread on it soon).
The car did not come with the factory rear wing/spoiler which I quite like the look of so I'm hoping to add one. I was wondering what my best options would be. The color of my GX is Blue Meridian Pearl and I see you can actually still get an OEM painted one from Lexus for ~$500 after shipping and tax. Am I crazy for thinking this might actually be my best option? I see there's a host of none OEM unpainted and painted options with a fairly large range of prices that I could get for cheaper. But I figure after I factor in the cost of having to potentially buy paint and the other issues of the color being slightly off or the quality being subpar, maybe going with the OEM from Lexus would be best. Thoughts?
Also, what would be my best option for covering the existing third brake light? I don't really like the idea of just leaving it because you'll be able to see it underneath the spoiler which I think looks dumb. Is there a part number for the cover that was installed on cars that came with the rear wing from factory?
Appreciate any input!
