So I want every ones vote. This is for 4 inches or more of lift I searched forms and came up with no results. What has the best flex. what lifts?

Spring over axles!

SOA on stock springs outflexes lift springs. SOA on longer springs flexes even better...

Four link will outflex leafs of course but at a premium price.

I have a set of Alcans (SUA) with a 4 inch lift. I'm very happy with the way they flex. You should add Alcans to your list of options.

On 55's ofcourse! I have done pretty much everything: safari's, LAAL, shackles, re-arch, SOA ect... I let people drive my Cruiser then thier ruined. I did mine as low as possible, happy as a PIG in $h!T!

coil over they are really nice your friends will envy your ride. you get awesome flex.
i am in the process of building a four linked coil over rite now. i have the suspention all working. its not drivable yet but you can see all the flex you have when u jack it up. but it does cost more money then you start out thinking. so far i have spent about $4000 on it just for the suspention and mechanism. but the whole things i am spending somwere around $20,000

3 or 4-Link

A 3 or 4 link setup will get the most flex that I've seen.

3 link front and 4 link rear with coilovers, thats what I did. I can lift one wheel 40" off of the ground and keep the other 3 on the ground with no binding anywhere. Makes me happy!

one more pic. I have some better ones somewhere.

scott76fj40,

Would you be willing to share some specs of your suspension? IE - link materials, joints, lengths, pictures of the mounts, ect. ??? I am considering a similar suspension (maybe 1/4 elliptical in rear instead of coil-overs to keep the cost down). But, I am curious of your antisquat numbers and such.

Sorry to hijack.

I dont know the antisquat numbers, I had it all figured out until I started to put everything in. Things never go as you plan. I had to move some things around to make it all fit but it turned out good. I used 2 dom 1/4 wall for the lowers. 1 3/4 dom 1/8 wall for the uppers. I used 3/4 hiems with 7/8 shank all the way around. If you use hiems get the hardened ones, cost a little more but worth it. I can get some pics up later i just need to find where I put them or I may just take some more pics and post a build thread on it.

Please, please do a build thread. I think it is something a lot of us are wanting to tackle, but it seems a little daunting. There are a lot of threads w/ 4-link stuff, but a 3-link front / 4-link rear thread, I cannot find anywhere!

I want to be able to street it some, but love that flex man. I know it rides well and has very little body roll too! Nice.

And 76FJ40, that FJuggy is just plain sick.
