      You didn’t ask my opinion, but I have one. If you’re happy with the brakes, leave well enough alone and convert the carb to run with a cable. A lot of ROW 2Fs came that way.

      Matthew, based on how close the ‘rib’ of your booster is to the hump in the center of the firewall, I’m going to hazard a guess that the truck wasn’t originally designed for rod linkage at all. Run a few image searches for other non-US firewalls...

      I did use thread sealer on the two large(10mm) bolts, torqued them to 17foot/pounds and the smaller(6mm) bolts were torqued to 40inch/pounds. The flange in some areas was not perfectly straight, but I didn’t think I could make it more straight...

      City racer got back to me pretty fast- to go the points distributor, you have to add a ballast in between the ignition switch and the coil to drop it down to 6v, and recommended 90919-04027 for that. I have no desire to get into my wiring...
