I need some help determining the best option for a return line into my stock tank for my EFI setup.

Here's some pictures of my options:

I'm assuming I don't need all these vents but I want to make sure they are a straight shot back into the tank before I tap into one.

Thoughts?

Thanks!

Hi All,

What year of 40 Series are we speaking of? Is it a US-market model or ?

Yes, the fuel tank on a US-market FJ40 has many emissions vent lines, but those are probably not the proper choice for a fuel return line.

On my 11/1973 manufacture FJ40 there is a fuel line, a return line, and at least 3 emissions vent lines. I don't know about later year 40 Series.

Regards,

Alan

I used an existing barb on the inboard side of the tank. 1977.

This. ^^^^^^^^^^ Also not sure what you're working with, but you need all the vents, and the tanks already have a return line fitting.
