no, just cutting perches and re adjusting them for the spring over. the actual turning will be on the front axle

What did you ran over this time Kyle? Is it for a 60 or 62? I have a used 60 radiator with a very slow leak on top of the tank you can have it in exchange for Togo's sandwich.LOL

Greg i dont need a fancy one i can use a stocker.

i killed the radiator overheating it and the head gasket the other day so yeah. ive replaced the rad cap, water pump, thermo and the hoses so that leaves radiator or headgaskets except i already redid the heads the other day. pretty sure its got a pinhole leak somewhere too either that or im going to do my head gaskets again and get my nice heads machined for it and get it rockin and rolling once the datsun is driveable

Or you can just get it fix and cleaned if there is any place near you that could do it.i was gonna get mine repaired but the shop insisted on getting it cored and charge me more than the cost of a new one.

dude i straight live in the boonies haha town of 2k people. georg has a good radiator next time i roll by provided i have the money for it. unfortunately the datsun is slowly depleting my available funds just to get the bastard running

Ask Georg if he will let you work for a part in exchange kinda deal or you can offer him the Togo's deal instead.You never know he just might take it,LOL.

Nah he is alive just going through college and what not. Last I talked to him (before Thanksgiving) he was in the process of pulling his engine apart again because he was having issues with something (think he needed another intake gasket).

Haha yep alive and kicking. I moved and barelybuse my laptop or phone anymore since im even more in the sticks now. @gregnash it wasnt intake haha the girlfriend killed bessie bombing dunes at pismo! Lost all my forward gears in the transmission 460 miles from home. Georg hooked me up with a built 700r4 off his shelf for a great price and I had it running after 2 days once we got it back to stockton.

Ill update more tonight since im sitting eating breakfast at my local diner!

@KWalkerM - Ah ok... I thought I remembered you saying something about moving but wasn't sure. Ended up getting those springs from the guy in Portola. So if you are still interested in my flat stockers let me know, haven't gotten around to replacing the springs yet as I will need new shocks, u-bolts, bushings, etc so that will be a bit of a later project this spring.

its been a while but Bessie is dead.
I got hit head on in the cruiser by a wrong way drunk driver on the freeway who was doing 75 in a Honda accord. truck rolled at lest once and ended up lying on the drivers side. I self rescued through my windshield and literally walked to safety with a possible concussion, broken arm, 3 stitches in my lip and a nasty black eye. ill post pictures when they are released next week. it was a double fatality for the Honda accord, deceased on scene.

anyone got a good 60 or fzj 80 they want to sell on the west coast? haha
