Bending H55 shifter?

Starting point for the bend changes depending on which shift cane you use.

60 series LHD.

RHD 60 series.

Do not have a LHD 70 series but those are probably just about perfect. Do have a RHD 40 series but no picture. That needs the bend straighten out and then will be the same as the LHD 40 series. 3F bellhousing would help but besides figuring out the angle of the crossmember and isolator rotating the transmission will cause more clearance issues with tunnel then there already are.
 
Today I was able to back bend my H55F shift cane in the press brake without issue. Just take your cane to a fab. shop and have them back bend it.



So what was your target angle? How much angle did you remove?
 
I was also wondering if the infamous FJ40 top for the H55 would solve the angle/knee knocking issues associated with the swap?
