This is the most interesting abbey ale I have ever had. It's 10% and has a slight sweet finish. It's dark like a stout in my opinion.
Good sh!t. When I was in NYC 15 years ago, this stuff was cheaper than Budweiser.

Brewing up a Belgian Tripel tonight. Should be about 8.5% ABV when it's done. Nothing beats the smell of boiling hops and malt.

Stopped by my beer store and picked up a new brew they had. Some Brother Thelonious 9.4ABV. Just wish my MT glass would of found its way back to the freezer. still good out da bottle

Just aging it I guess. I have heard good reports of aging for at least 12 months. 
Would you suggest I do the aging in the bottles instead? (Serious question)

I prefer bottle conditioning. It lets you start drinking the beer and taste the difference as it gets older. I bottle it after 2-3 weeks if the specific gravity is in range. It also ensures there is enough active yeast to carbonate the beer well. That being said I haven't been brewing that long so I could be wrong.
