Does anyone have a bearing press that can assist me with changing out the one in my 97 Celica? I've got all the parts to rebuild the front end, and the driver side bearing is wobbly.

I have a 12k pound press in my garage. Would that be enough? Is it a hub bearing?

I thought front wheel bearing were an assembly on cars. I didn't know the bearings could be replaced.

I'm thinking it's time to invest in tools, like we really need an excuse to buy tools 😁

Yes and no.

Some have replacement bearings. Others are a bolt in assembly.

Special attachments make this job 200% easier pressing the bearing in and out of the knuckle. Along with pressing the wheel hub in and out.

I've got one.

I've got a 2-ton press and the C-clamp style too. You can borrow the C-clamp kit and give it a shot at your place or bring the parts to my place and see what 2-tons and some fancy press parts will do. Your choice.

When I say 2-tons, I really mean 20-tons... its a fancy pneumatic model that I operate with my foot because I'm usually pressing things by myself while visualizing future Darwin Awards.
