I replaced my crappy lead acid battery with a red top. The old battery fumes ate my factory battery tie-down to nothing. If I got a new factory tie-down, it wouldn't fit because the Optima battery is smaller in every dimension.
My old racing buddies would say "a piece of rope would pass tech inspection", but I'd like something a little better than that.
There's a nice solid spot for a hook on the engine side. But the tray is plastic and not very strong, so I don't think something like a strap would work for the front side.
