I stumbled across this while I was scrolling through GXOR and wanted to share it.

I have wanted something like this to hold my winch circuit breaker and was looking to actually have one made until I saw this.

I will post a pic of under the hood on my GX later today but it costed like 55 USD shipped to my door. No Brainer

Cheers!

Good recommendation. I may pick one of these up today since the fuse/breaker for my switch panel is currently zip tied into the engine bay.

The shipping and conversion to me made this about $55 shipped.
I used this for my fuse box, breaker. It worked perfect and was only $30

Hmmm, I like that. I sorta strapped my winch cutoff switch to the factory hold down, but this option looks a lot neater.

Does this use existing threaded holes on the inside of the fender or do you need to drill? It's a good price and seems useful but I'm trying to avoid drilling holes throughout the engine bay.

Just wish somebody would make a dual battery bracket kit.... :(

This uses the existing hole drilled into the fender already. I mounted my breaker, acc. fuse box and the relays for my lights onto it. I used the top of the fuse box for my winch switch.

The shrock works fj cruiser bracket works… that’s what I used. Paired it with the off grid engineering universal blue sea systems tray to make my own kit… they briefly had a kit specifically for the 460 but discontinued it due to “lack of interest”.

Thank you for posting! I was going to spend at least $30 in materials and probably half a day fabricating something for my rig. This ended up being $38 shipped and will save a TON of time.

No problem, I was going to do something similar but found this and for the price I couldn't argue with the price and ease of use.

Installed the Apex Overland tray this weekend. It's easy - the slots on the fender side match threaded m8x1.25 holes, and the tab on the opposite end lines up with an unused welded m6 nut underneath the brake fluid reservoir. I did trim a little of the tray for clearance around the various wire harnesses by the brake reservoir so make sure you have something handy for that. The m6 nut under the brake reservoir is tough to reach with the tray in place, so I trimmed that part of the tray to be a slot, rather than a hole. I pre-threaded an m6 hex bolt in, then slotted the tray over it. You can then easily tighten the rest of the way with a ball end hex wrench.

This is a great piece for the price.

Similar to the Kaon mount.
