Bent rear lower shock mount

Call a junk yard. I bet you can get that cut off and shipped to you. Tons of rolled gx’s on ebay that won’t be needing those shock mounts anymore.

Did they try to bend it? Seems like welding a new one on would be the best route. Bending is just going to leave it as a weak spot I would think and it sounds like you’re wheeling a little spicey if you bent the first one on the trail : )
Welding is a sometimes a good/bad thing. Your correct that bending it back, it now has a stress point, but welding (heating up and cooling metal), unless it's annealed, also makes the joint weaker, but that can be mitigated by welding supports/brackets/etc.

Yup
I am looking for a Heavy Duty solution.

Deleted the name of the shop from the thread. I am over it and them. Still no truck back and no pro-active updates.

TL: DR if you have a GX take it to a shop in Denver.

Rather than delete the thread, who are they so others can avoid?

Got it back. They tried to hit me up for an additional 660$ after I had already paid 440$ and they had failed to provided updates 4 days in a row and promised me a full refund.

The fabrication is OK. But for that money I would have Slee do it and it would be good longer than the rest of the trucks.

I would recommend avoiding John's 4x4.

It drives ok. So the work is probably good. Just not cool with the poor communication.
They aren't working on a 1986 Chevy Celebrity, after all. 😂

So they roached my axle seal and put a different bleeder valve on it that was torqued to over 50 ft lbs. Had to use a breaker bar.
