I was switching out batteries due to one dying on me. I was pulling the terminal back and this wire cut clean at the connector.

The car cranks but it won't start. I'm assuming this connector is for the fuel pump or something related.

What is this thing? I'm assuming I can order the connector with pigtails and just do a quick fix, but I don't have a lot of wire to work with.

Looks like your fusible link. If it's sparking it's not the one connected to your EFI relay. (Mine came apart at 7300 ft)

Should be able to get a new one at the dealer or parts store.

Sorry used the wrong word. It cranks and won't start. Not sure about the sparks.
