I'm needing a battery for my 4BT powered 55 that lives at 9000' in Colorado that Fits in the stock battery tray. I'm concerned that , with the ones Im looking at, have a hight at the top of posts at 8 7/8 that it might hit my hood. thoughts? I'm hoping to pick one up tomorrow.

Gonna have to check, but I think the OEM is like a group 26 or something like that. AGM’s are all the rage.

They have batteries with side posts or threads. I have also noticed that the hood tends to yield more room than you think.

Well, according to NAPA online, they use a Group 34. I guess that makes it easier.
