Barely. I have to say Clemson is not a bad team. It was a good game.
The second half of the SC game was actually really goo. It was like someone turned on a light.

Like I said no way UNC runs away with it, if UNC didnt have those 2 7'0" giants it would be a totally different game, they get in everybody's head though, really change the way Clemson plays.
I was impressed.
Clemson, expected to be the doormat of the conference, held their own, even dominated at times. And save a little clutch-time choking just about finished with a W here.
Having been a Tiger since you never even heard basketball mentioned I've been glad to have something to follow between Jan and Sept and all I've ever asked for is progress. Purnell gave us that consistently and probably took the program as far as he could. I'm thinking Brownell might be the one to go a few steps higher.
Now if he can just recruit like the football program look out Tobacco Road.
My Gamecocks on the other hand. . . sad. When I was there they were a national power. Shameful.

Uhhh..don't look now but USC beat CU this year and beat a couple of top 25 teams too.
Do they suck...oh yeah...
Is the future looking better...Yep. VERY young team. Talent is coming in however.

I didn't say we would. If the season ended today we wouldn't be in one of the biggest reasons is the USuC loss. If we get to 9 or 10 wins in the ACC then we will be in good position though.
I would love to see CU beat Duke this year. I just don't see it happening.
I love to see ANYBODY beat Duke.
Then the Heels.
How weird that the SEC East may get as many teams in the Dance as the WHOLE ACC.

This same thing happened last yr and the yr before everybody said the acc was weak wouldnt get that many team in the dance, then we end up with 5-7 teams and 3-4 of them make the sweet 16. Everybody likes to say the ACC is weak and playing the rest of the ACC isn't very good but we prove every yr its just hot air.

I assume you are talking about the NC St loss, certainly a crappy los but no chance of making the dance is a stretch, beat Wake and VT and lose to Duke plus 1 or 2 wins in the ACC tourney and we are in. Beat Duke too and the ACC tourney doesn't even matter.
ACC didn't need po ole Clemson with a rookie coach and box of bail out committals and pre-season # DFL to make it look bad. Dook and the Tarholes did a good enough job on their own.
But really the reason they all have such bad records is because they all beat each other at random.
I was pretty proud of Beau Brummel & Co this year. Rough start as expected but continued to improve perceptibly over the season. Have out--performed all expectations and that's all I ask.
If they can recruit like Dabo has things should get better and better.
BTW I was listening to the last game on the radio and I could hear Brownell constantly yelling coaching from the side. I hadn't seen that on the TV games or noticed it on the radio. I was impressed by the passion.

Don't bet on it.
Dont bet on beating Wake and VT? or Don't bet on beating Dook? If you are referring to Dook I agree they will be pissed off after that VT loss and its at their place, on the bright side hopefully VT will be a little complacent and that win would look even better now.
I was referring to the "don't bet on it" as in making the NCAA tourney.
From what I have seen Clemson is currently on the bubble. At least they are being mentioned.

First 4 out per Joe Lunardi and he has gottn 87% right since thy started about 6 or 7 yrs ago.
What a crazy UNC win. Whew. Now go Tigers! Beat Duke.
