And, Clemson quickly plummets back into the realm of mediocre nothingness, right where they are comfortable...

Clemson should open the check book and go after Stevens. He's young, he can coach and he seems like a class act.

Welcome to the Merry-Go-Round Andy.

YOU go after Stevens. RotsaRuck.

Stevens isn't going anywhere, he just got a big extension and he has no reason to leave since he's returning basically the entire team that just barely lost in the finals. They have a good shot to win it all next year.

I'll be the first to say I'm not real sure about this hire right now, heard some good things and he said some good things in the press conference but I'm gonna need to see it on the floor before I like it. However its a way better hire then the one Wake made.

Well it's that time of the year. Forget about football your team did less than poorly this year. It's time to start focusing on how great your BB team is this and how they will be winning the national championship. There is hope for us yet. Well until we are halfway through the season.

Go Heels.

UNC looked good last night, I was also reading where they might play Michigan State on an aircraft carrier next year that would be pretty cool.

Clemson beat a solid Western Carolina the other night and should be playing a solid ODU team in round 2 of some preseason tourney on Saturday. Haven't gotten to watch them yet but I hear they are more polished offensively and dominating the frontcourt.

So much for UNC looking good, or Clemson. We had a guy announce he is transferring today as well. Down to 11 players and a couple of those are walk-ons. Gonna be a tough year without any depth.

Well it looks as if there is light at the end of the tunnel.

Great game for the Heels.

That UNC win over Kentucky was SWEET!

Yes it was.

When I saw the CU vs USC score tonight I said to myself "That is going to hurt."

Finally.....after 6 straight humbling losses to CU, USC wins one.
I think CU's only win in sports this year against USC was men's volleyball.
ROFLMAO

I like that David, double joke since we lost and there no mens Vball. Only sport we won this fall is womens volleyball, just another nail in the TDP coffin I hope.

Clemson is gonna be down this year in bball for sure, we are very short as a team, we only have 1 or 2 guys who can create their own shot, we have a low bball IQ since OP used gimick to beat teams not understanding of the game, we are limited on numbers, and right now several guys with the skill and athleticism to be good players aren't playing anywhere near their potential. I think Brownell can be successful but it will take some time.

Have you looked at your women's volley ball team? I thought it was a men's team. My bad.
<insert rimshot>
:grinpimp:

USC's round ballers are not very good. I wouldn't be surprised to see an O-fer in the S.E.C.
and that ain't even the A.C.C. by a long shot.

Shame to say it but after baseball arguably the 2 best sports performance wise right now are v-ball and rowing which are the butchest women you'll ever meet. Golf is up there too but they just can't seem to get the big win at the end lately.

USuC will win a few games they have good guard play and the SEC is garbage in bball.

The Dawgs did look good. Kentucky is probably a top 20 team at best. Just not that deep. UGA has some experience with 1 Sr and 4 Jrs starting, and the best SEC player in Thompkins... could be an interesting year for a change. Fox is working out to be a very good hire but hopefully not too good or we'll lose him soon enough.

UK should be in the 15-20 range they have tons of players but they are all young by March you will not be saying they don't have depth.

Clemson evened up their ACC mark at 1-1.

Big game tonight Marshall, both sitting at 2-1 in the ACC, dropping to 2-2 woul dbe rough. Another chance to end the streak in the Dean Dome. I think tonight coul dbe a real interesting one.

If the heels play like they did the other night all you have to do is show up and you will win. Should be quite the lousy game I'm expecting.

I'll preface this comment by saying this year's Wake team is one of the worst in school history and may give a sincere challenge to the worst ACC team ever. I'll be absolutely flabbergasted if we don't finish the season 0-16 in league play...

Anyhoo, because it likely ranks up there with the most futile endeavor in sports, I figured you Clemson and UNC guys would have some heated banter going about tonight's game.

Richard's post is much too genteel and Marshall's lack of confidence for his mightly heels in the nose dome is unexpected, even if they did get blown out by GaTech the other night. I'd guess the Clemson contingent is pretty excited about ending the longest losing streak in sports tonight and I'd say they have a pretty good shot.

I'll be in the air heading to the west coast so I won't get to see any of it unfortunately but if it is anything like the 2008 game (with the ending possibly going the other way this time) it should be a heckuva game.
