It happens man, Sunday is shaping up to be a heck of a day, supposed to be 74 and sunny out, I'm gonna sit outside and brew a pale ale, while I listen to Clemson v UNC baseball game on the radio, then Clemson v Wake on the tv.
Guess Marshall and I are the only ones watching the tourney now?

No I'm still watching, just not with the same enthusiasm although I picked us to be out by now either way.
Since when is 14 points a close one? Once Lawson decided to stop being a giant vag about his toe and play UNC was clearly the better team.
I can't wait to see Hansborough get dominated by Blake Griffin next weekend I hope UNC and OK don't choke in the next round and mess it up. That'll be in game evidence of how Hansborough won't be anything in the NBA.

Here's my obligatory post from the west coast for the year.
I have the Orangemen over the Okies...I was a little ambitious, but I want to see Griffin beat the s*** out of Tyler too. Unfortunately, Tyler won't be a good NBA player. Blake will be...I think.
What's with this thread, it's been relatively dead this year?
LSU made a great run in the second half. It could have easily snowballed from there.

Richard I'm surprised though you are still watching. I'd expect for you to be coming out with a rivals poll or something showing Clemson has the top recruiting class.

We dont have the top recruiting class we only signed 13 guys, although they avg like 3.8 stars best class we ever signed by star value. I am still watching I love the tourney plus I am in a pool worth about 80 bucks and still have a decent chance to win it. That just ads to the excitement. I really need kansas to lose b/c I picked ND St to beat them in the first round but the bison just couldnt pull it off. Woodside needed to drop 40 on them and he only got 35.
Yeah I had hoped ND would have gotten a little further.

UNC has 2 5 star recuits coming in this year and possibly the number one recruit. While I agree UNC will not be a #1 team next year I do see them doing well. At least well enough to make it into the dance.
As far as Clemson you have 1 5 star committed and 2 3 stars. Though you have everyone who was good coming back next year. I do see Clemson having a good year. Though I and all you nuts thought the same thing and they ended up performing like every other Clemson team. A great start but a lousey finish to the year.
Is the Devin Booker related to Trever? Brothers? That will be interesting. Here is to you Richard

On a side not. I have been invited to a dinner with Roy Williams this month. Ought to be interesting. Too bad I don't have Richards pig anymore. I think it would have been funny to pull up in that hunk of s***.

UNC will be lucky to start next yr in the top 10 they are losing 4 starters and as good as the guys coming in are they are still untested and unproven freshman. They also have no true point guard. Roy might be a good recruiter but he didn't replace Lawson and its gonna bite him in the ass. You can't just plug in some combo guards like they have and expect it to work. I'm sure they will go to the dance but they won't go far in it, it will be just like 4 yrs ago after the last championship.
Devin is Trevors brother, and he has been back and forth between 3 and 4 stars for the past 2 yrs. Trevor came in as a 3 star though and hes arguably the best PF in the conference. Purnell says he thinks Devin is better right now then Trevor was coming into Clemson so thats pretty high praise. I think we will be probably the deepest team in the ACC next yr with all the guys we played this yr plus who is coming in we can go 10-11 guys in. It was noticeable at the end of the yr when the D started to fade and it affected our O guys just wore down.

Woo hoo! Basketball is here. UNC had it's first game last night. Though a little rough still came up with a win. Going to be a crazy start to the season as they have some tough teams to play in the next 6 weeks.
Also came out ranked 6th. So according to Richard they were very lucky.
It was good to see Clemson ranked in the top 20 though.
Bad news though as Clemson won't get a chance to ruin UNC's winning streak against CU at Chapel Hill this year. Looks like that 53 game streak will have to wait. Cannot believe you guys have not beat us since 1926.
I'm looking forward to the game in CU this year though. 9 pm on a Wed night with a short 45 minute drive home will be so much better than the 5 hr drive home from UNC. Especially with a bunch of losing Clemson fans in the car.
