Yeah I'm pretty certain they will stay #1 since if you wear Blue and play basketball in NC the media and refs spend most of their time on their knees in front of you. Doubt it would have been unanimous though. Its ok though because preseason #1 isn't worth anything in basketball to long of a season.

The real question is what kind of pansy sits out because of a shin injury? For a guy who claims to be so tough hes sure acting like a :princess: with this one. CU is getting a few top 25 votes see if we can get back in there like last yr.

Cant wait for another battle of the big girls.

The kind who is expected to go #1 in the NBA draft next year.

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

I'll bet you right now he doesn't go #1 in the draft whether he sits because of his shin or not. Just like he wouldn't have gone #1 if he had left this past yr. He plays center/forward in college but hes to short to play center in the NBA. He would need to play power forward or maybe even small forward in the nba but he isn't athletic enough, doesn't have the ball skills, or outside shooting touch. He'll get drafted decent and then turn into a good 6 or 7 man in the NBA. He's just like Adam Morrison or JJ Reddick great college player avg at best NBA player.

Richard, this is the best you could do? Good attempt though.

I can't find any early draft predictions they dont really come out until about the first of the yr. But thats what they said about him last yr and he certainly hasn't gotten taller or more athletic.

Read this and get back to me. Make sure you look at his records, his accomplishments to the right and down at the bottom. Andy you need to read this to. I need some good witty feedback. Richard is seriously lacking.

Tyler Hansbrough - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

According to Wiki, TH comes in at 6'9" 250. I can't see him being able to beat and bruise his way into the paint (which he currently does in the ACC) against Shaq's 7'1" 325, or get the fade away to fall against a 7'6" 310 Yao Ming. I mean, Lebron is 6'8" 250, and you can't tell me that "Psycho-T" has the same skill set as LeBron. His "duck underneath as they go up" will work, until people realize that is what he does. He's got to change his game to be a serious player in the NBA, maybe he has during the off-season, which gave him his stress cracks. We'll see.

As for draft projections, here you go. (BTW, you gotta go outside the top 20 to see "Psycho-T") 2009 NBA Mock Draft

Don't get me wrong. There is a LOT I like about Hansbrough. I like his blue collar work ethic, his hustle, and the way he finds a way to finish. Unfortunately, I think he'll pull a Christian Laettner in the pros, without the ghey part.

Probably not as witty as you were expecting, just honest brutal truth!

Your right, not a witty but still good. But what you are missing from your post is some reference to a Clemson player who was better or some Clemson player who would be #1 in the NBA draft back 20 years ago had the refs not thrown the game.

This has nothing to do with Clemson it has to do with you drinking the Hansborough cool-aid and thinking hes a #1 draft pick in the NBA instead of the NBA role player that he is. There are guys who are projected ahead of him who are true freshman. He's just not a going to be a great NBA guy, he'll maybe be worth 10 pts 5 rebs a game at the next level, most of the pts on garbage. And I dont know why your trying to get Andy in this cause he is just going to crush your baby blue dreams of a #1 draft pick.

Notre Dame vs Texas

Wow, what a game! Good stuff to see a hotly contested, top ten battle that goes to the buzzer this early in the year.

Luke Harangody is going to be an animal again this year. 29 points, 13 boards - congrats to him and Capt. Jim!!

Marshall - Go ahead and buy a big supply of tissues to cry on because as much as I'd love to see Oregon beat up on your boys in baby blue tonight, I would prefer to see the best basketball player in the history of modern time get owned by Luke Harangody tomorrow night.

You heard it here first - if they match up directly, Luke will own Pans-brough... :grinpimp:

Looking forward to a ND/NC match-up tomorrow, and I will be in the Upstate to enjoy it. The game tonight was good, especially being this early in the season.:clap:

No congrats for me, Andy. Last time I played 1 on 1 with Luke he was probably in the 6th grade and I was taller than him. :D No influence on him since other than getting some tix now and then...

I figured you'd be a proud Harangody nonetheless Jim!

They showed his family a few times last night as they cheered in the stands. Mom, dad and brother...

That half court shot at the buzzer was money.

The Syracuse / Kansas game that went to OT was great too. I believe the Cuse was down by 13 at one point in the 2nd half before storming back for the W in OT.

Can wait to see Luke and Beaker-brough play tonight.

It was a good game. I thought ND played a good game. I'm sure it would have been closer had Harangody been 100%.

Who was the kid with 10 3-pointers? Wow. Crazy.

Looking forward to the rest of the season. Beaker played well. Don't see them going undefeated but I'm not expecting them to lose more than a couple.

All in all the ACC looks pretty good. Wake, Miami, UNC, Clemson, Maryland, heck even Duke might do well. I think all these teams will be in the NCAA tourny.
