Watching Maynor continually work that punk Paulus for a 2 hour stretch was pure bliss.

Yeah, it really was blissful. I hate Duke...I was so happy when Maynor hit that shot, I was jumping up and down in my office yelling, watching it on a CBS stream.

Well, I owe cruiser4life a cigar. 121 points. F that. The LBC made a very poor showing. They are a better team than that, they cracked under the pressure and turned the ball over, which is the first thing UT would exploit. Oh well, guess LBC isn't as good as the Big West former powerhouses Pacific and Utah State, who could actually stage and upset. Pacific took BC to OT last year....

Yep, you're right. ACC def. made an early exit. Though I'd agree with Marshall that UNC has as good a shot as any - and more so than your weak, sissy-fied west coast pretty boys teams.

Too bad your bet had nothing to do with conference success.

I have a DVD copy if you want to include a SASE with your cigar payment / shipment. You'd probably enjoy watching the Vols hang 121 again on Aaron "Nixed" and your boys from Long Beach.

debate seems like it's a 3-1 deal so far. Not too shabby for

Won by 21 tonight it was a decent game about 30 minutes of good intense play and 10 that was a little sloppy and poor hustle getting back on D. We host Syracuse in a battle of the orange on wed though should be a good one. I'll be heading to that game as well. Watch for Trevor Booker to have another huge game he dropped 21 tonight making 3 straight 20+ point games. GO TIGERS!!!

This comment from a tiger friend of mine, "I've decided since we are still playing and all those other teams lost then we must be better then all of them."

I watched from tip to final buzzer. It was tough to watch at times in the first half as play was incredibly sloppy with tons of turnovers. There were over 40 combined turnovers in the game!!!

Steve Lavin referred to the game as an episode of Keystone Cops at one point in the 1st half.

Clemson certainly got their act together at the end of the 1st half by closing with a 12-1 run. They played with more poise in the 2nd half and won convincingly as Richard pointed out.

Tough loss on the bet David, I'll have to figure out what kind of smoke I want.

Richard seems to be acting like a gentlemen this morning as he hasn't rubbed in your face that last night's win makes Clemson 4-0 against the SEC this year. The ACC may have sputtered in the NCAA tourney but it looks like we're owning the NIT!!

The 'Cuse looked good last night but with Clemson playing them at home, you have to like the Tigers to get to NY.

Though, I gotta ask Richard - Why was the attendance so horrible? Are the students gone on Spring Break??

Is was embarrassing on TV for you guys. For a place that supposedly seats almost 11,000 fans, there were empty seats in the front rows last night. The reported attendance was less than 3,700!!!

Get that up for the game against the Orange!!!!!

I have UNC beating Florida to win the title. Though, David's bet on Kansas seems solid as they looked great against Kentucky on Sunday.

Exactly Andy were right in the middle of Spring Break. I walked up 10 min before tip and got a ticket without any problem. I would say it was more like 5000 though they kept filling in til about 10 min into the game. It wasn't a horrible turnout for spring break and it got pretty loud at times. I expect a little better turnout for wed b/c some people will be filtering back in by then. The first half was really sloppy til about the 8 minute mark there out we looked ok. We will need to cut the turnovers down for this game but we did have less then 20 we also out rebounded them on both ends which is good cause we hadnt been doing that. Should be a good game SU is definitely the best team we'll have played since the ACC.
