My Wife is of a height that would make this useful and I love the different look. I would miss the tailgate though. I've been considering modifying a BedSlide or a 4runner cargo slide to fit instead.

I saw this truck yesterday in Winston-Salem North Carolina. Had never seen these doors before. But it was a great looking rig.

Not even two years after repairing my tailgate, I'm needing to urgently address my lift gate for rust almost all around the window. I'm realizing I really don't use my tailgate as a platform so much so I'm considering doing the barn door conversion myself.

Might still decide against it, but it is definitely a unique look (for up here) that I like, and I am a glutton for punishment.
