Looks absolutely great all around, the doors, the door panels, the whole conversion. Wish I had that talent. Keep up the good work.

The doors aren't to bad if you can source them from Australia, about 250.00 US a piece, but then you have to track down all the parts and pieces and the shipping from OZ is expensive. So with the door panels and paint I probably have 2,000 in them

Nice work on the doors. I wish i had your fab skills. In one of the pics it looks like you have installed some kind of belt system. Is that for the hounds or a third row seat?

No, the tether is actually for a car set. Not to exciting.

Thanks,
Doors work out for you?

Still haven't made it down to my brother's house to pick them up. Worst case we're catching up for Thanksgiving.

I'll let you know, but they look 100% better than the current rusted out doors on my truck.

Thanks again.

And very nice work on your truck!!

Im glad I could help out a fellow mudder, and thanks again for the compliments, the barn doors were a long time coming but worth it in the end I think.

Those doors look great! Exceptionally well done.

I just finished the door panels for the rear doors, since the ones that came with it were shot. I went ahead a made new ones for the cargo area too. They are 1/8 inch aluminum that I cut and had powder coated in a texture brown finish.

This thread inspired us to give this project a go as we damaged our rear doors beyond repair and Sofia is too short to reach over the tailgate.

Here's us getting started:

I’ve debated these for awhile. Is there a diagram w part numbers?? I can’t find one, partssouq or anywhere. I can get the doors but I’m concerned about getting new rubber bits etc
This is actually a huge question.
I have diagrams (attached below) that I’ve found from different websites (also listed below).
New rubber is a whole other ballgame though. Here's what I've found:

Toyota Rubber Part Numbers for Barn Doors:

Centre rubber Seal: 67884-90A00
Right Hand top rubber: 67881-90A04
Left Hand top rubber: 67882-90A00
Full Rear Main rubber Seal: 67881-90A08

The main large rubber seal is available in the US here: Back Door Surround Weatherstrip for Non-US Land Cruiser FJ60 FJ62
Centre rubber Seal that goes on the back left door in the US here: Rear Back Left Door Weatherstrip 81-90 [67884-90A00] - $46.33 : CruiserParts.net, Toyota Landcruiser Parts
We got used right and left top seals from the Netherlands (These are the hardest to find, they've been out of production for a long time): Home - CruiserWorld

I found the following diagrams on these websites, if you click on the numbers next to each part you can get full Toyota part numbers and then search for them:

On top of all the above I found an anti rattle fitting and a top striker plate on cruiserparts.net

Just a caveat: We have made the decision to install the doors as these are a much better solution for us and I like the idea of having something a little different in the US. We're doing everything we can to get these installed to the best of our ability and I also do have family in Australia helping me find parts locally there.

I hope this info may be of use to you or someone and if I can be of any more help please anyone feel free to reach out on here or if urgent on our instagram. These forums have been invaluable for us in many ways and I will do whatever I can do to help out. :)

Wow. very, very helpful post. Thank you!
As per usual the enormity of the extras makes this project a big one

If you need any parts for the barn doors, I might be able to source them down here in Colombia and send them to you. They are very common down here. Also if you need photos of anything, my 60 has them.
