Been there…lolOoops, got drunk and ordered a front skid. Just the OEM pro. Oh well. LOL
Undecided on wheels and rubber. But MOST likely not 285's. I would most likely go to the 268/75r16 or 17" equiv. Are you looking to go 285s already? Given the TW consensus that they require a CMC you might want to wait until your factory warranty is closer to being expired.
I stepped up to 265/75r16 when I first brought mine home. Was really torn on going 255/85s or not. I’m not a big fan of the stock TRD OR wheels either, but since I’ve already rock rashed them they’ll stay until I go 17’s.
The SoftTopper is worth the wait, we really like ours. I just wish the rear window could prop up like a hard shell does.
I bet that added at least 30 hp.
OH! Just wait until I get the rattle can going!I bet that added at least 30 hp.
I think it looks great and has much better coverage than TRD skid plate for the 4Runner.OH! Just wait until I get the rattle can going!
Seriously though thewanted it out of her sight since you know it was only just delivered yesterday and we didn't even have the truck then (was at the tint shop). So I had planned on painting it and removing the red TRD, but decided to just slap it on there. Actually doesn't bother me much. The pics online make it to look a lot more like white VS the silver color in comes in and just a little lighter in shade than the skysilver whatever color the truck is.
Giving all the negatives of people saying its aluminum, and weak, and blahblahblah, it's 100% better than the tinfoil stock stuff I took off.
