Back up camera and mirror- which one to buy?

I'm looking for a backup camera for my 96 FZJ80 using the mirror.
Which ones do you guys use and recommend?

Gentex makes the mirrors with the embedded video screen. I carry the part that makes it so you can mount it.

As to the cameras themselves I gotta say that the technology is changing too often. As is the price. I find the lines helpful and some don't like them. Make sure you have one that shows a flipped image do it looks correct on the screen. Having one with IR helps for nighttime use.

If you can find one with a proximity alarm, even better.

I like it. Hate to wire it up and have it sh$t the bed.
Some of these Gentex mirrors cost that much on Ebay.

The current mirror on my 96 should look like this.

So I would need to buy the block from Wits End for the new Gentex back up camera mirror/

Can I buy this set up, and marry the Gentex to it?

I would recommend mirror with bigger LCD. I've tested booth and (wide version with small LCD and taller version with much bigger LCD) and it makes quite big difference on visibility.

You can connect it to two cameras so I've installed front and rear cam.

Ya that set up looks pretty cool. Nice find. Does the clipped on mirror stick out alot? Doesn't look like it from the front pic.
