Back Door Open

Got a warning message on dash saying "Back Door Open" with my 2010 Cruiser. Interior lights come on and I get a chime every 30 seconds or so. Very annoying.

Sometimes this is constant or will happen for a few seconds while driving and then go off.

Anyone else had this problem and can help me troubleshoot???

Mine does that occasionally if I don't slam the upper section down hard enough. It looks closed but it isn't. I haven't looked into it yet, I assume the switch is in the latch and needs adjusting. Was gonna work on it when I get around to installing lights and one of those nifty internal latch switches.
