I have the ct26 in mine, drove from vancouver to Quebec this summer and back and it performed great!
I have 33's and stock gearing, also 5 speed.
I am going to try it with stock tires on soon to see what it is like.
As for exhaust, this is from a book i have called Diesel fundamentals, service and repair by Bill Tobalt.
It says, "every effort must be made to reduce back pressure. As back pressure increases, power drops, fuel economy decreases, valve temperatures soar and cooling system temperatures rise.
Special care must be taken in selecting exhaust pipes to be sure they are of sufficient diameter and there are no sharp bends. Pipes of small diameter will cause backpressure as will sharp bends."
My exhaust is 3 inch but i have two sharp bends, they were not welded bends.
I'm looking at redoing my exhaust so it is straight out.
Another intersesting line from this book, "when bends are necessary, the radius should be at least four times the diameter of the tubing." Isn't that crazy.
hope this helps,
john
