Hey Y'all...
I've got a fj60 and want to know if axles from a fj62 would be a straight swap, bolt in or is there some modifications needed. I heard that the 62 has 4.11 gears and the 60 only has 3.70? Looking for some extra grunt. Thanks

You can swap the thirds over without swapping the whole axle, but the 62 housings do have a bit more meat to them (the front at least). They should be a straight swap too, I don't think the extra trussing passes through the spring perch area.... All the spring kits are 60/62 compatible, so there shouldn't be any issues.

My 4.11 FJ62 thirds bolted right in to my FJ60 housings without a problem.
