Need some of your much appreciated help.....

am swapping an 82 front axle (disc brakes) into a 70 cruiser. will the different gear ratios between front and rear axles now be a prob? tried search, too many variables to get a straight answer (different year patient and donor vehicles, etc.). Thanks in advance for the help.

Yes, it's a problem. You cannot wheel it that way. You will need to swap in one of the diffs to match the ring n pinion ratio. John

swapping both front and rear ends would solve this problem, i am hoping?

is it possible to swap the hubs/ rotors/ knuckles on to the 70 housing?

Yes. It is essentially the same as swapping the mini truck knuckles described in tech links above.

thanks for the help, I think that's what I was trying to get at when I asked my original question. I'm just a poor asker of questions, and prolly shoulda researched more, but it get's tiring and you guys seem to have all the knowledge at your fingertips. thanks

Or run 31" tires in front and 33" tires out back. :flipoff2: Take luck...

Just swap thirds and play with drive shaft flanges till you have a driveshaft that will work.
