Thanks georg I was over tearing down Dima motor yesterday and we were talking about it. He said you might have some of these. We will have to get together and talk soon. I agree about the 208.
 
Having had both apart, but at different times, I don't recall there being a huge difference btwn the 208 and the 241. However an SYE kit for the 241 exists where doing one with a 208 takes some JY scrounging of Dodge parts. HAD makes an output flange for the JB Conversion SYE kits that they sell that will allow using the OE Toyota drive shaft companion flanges. I went this way with my engine swap, all Toyota drive shaft parts though not in stock lengths.
 
241s have better oiling, wider/stronger chains, more idlers in the stronger planetary and they don't suffer from the pocket bearing failures at the end of the main shaft which commonly wipes out the main shaft on the 208s. The shift forks are also much less prone to deflection and wear/failure. Just a better case and the SYE kit availability is a big plus.
