What model 80 Series are you working on (look at the VIN sticker)?
Which transmission does it have?

I would not add the shudder fix or the additive, IME they can make things worse, at least in the A343F transmission.
There is a LubeGard product IME that can help clean up a transmission if used correctly, it's their Transmission Flush product.
Just follow the directions, but if your transmission fluid is clean it's probably not needed.
Do not use any transmission flush/cleaner unless you follow that up by replacing ALL the transmission fluid. IMO.

Here's a few questions:
Which transmission does your 80 Series have, the A343F or the A442F?
What ATF is in there now?
What problems is it having and is this a recent change in how it shifts??
How old is the fluid?
If it was changed was all of it changed or just a drain and fill (3-4 quarts)?
Best method is to replace ALL the fluid at the same time, either using the "Rodney" Flush method (check youtubes)
or Search in this forum, or have a shop do a complete fluid exchange. If you have a shop do it you need to ask
exactly how they replace the fluid. Best is when they hook up to the cooler lines, and using the transmissions own pump, so all the old fluid comes out and new fluid goes in. But many shops just suck out what's in the pan repeatedly via the dipstick tube, probably not the best method IMHO.
Part of the reason it may be better to change all the fluid at the same time is that, IME, a drain and fill can INCREASE the number of particles
in the fluid by stirring up or releasing particles that are stuck in the system, so better to remove it all, even running more fluid
than needed to completely replace the old fluid. The Flush/Cleaner may also help remove any particles that are stuck inside the system.
Adding an inline filter to a cooler line may also help remove particles in the fluid.
Mobil 1 Synthetic and Valvoline Maxlife synthetic are known to work well in the A343F transmission.
Whichever ATF you use it needs to be backwards compatible with the DEXRON II/III standard.
