Good afternoon ,Finally getting around to putting my 80 project back together years later after taking it apart! So i kind of forgot the routing for the transmission cooler hoses coming from the hard lines near the radiator. Any body have pictures of them by chance once installed with radiator and shroud in place?I know where they all go but having issue with routing near the steering box/fan shroud area. Once i mock up radiatior seems like its rubbing/sitting on one of the longer transmission hoses .Any info / pictures would be great preferably 1995-1997 but older might be similar aswell.

This thread has lots of good info and pictures.
Your first photo shows a hard line with a flared end. There is a formed hose still available from Toyota which includes a protector wrap around it, which I believe goes there. That is the only OEM hose I bought when I redid my soft lines a few months back. I didn't like the non-OEM options, which looked to me like they would sit uncomfortably close to the harmonic balancer. I commented on that in the thread above, near the current end of the thread.
You surely already know this, but the clamps are critical. Constant tension clamps, OEM or OEM style, are by far the best IMHO.
Good luck. Your rig looks too clean to be real. Are those AI generated images??? :)

Thank you, Yeah I actually did see that thread and was trying to follow that the best I could. But it didn’t show with fan shroud installed how it was routed exactly and I was having some issues getting it lined up with radiator in place but eventually I got it pretty situated. No AI pics just another landcruiser that was supposed to get baselined. But ended up with a whole lot of “well once I’m in there might as-well do this “ and some elbow grease later turned into basically and engine/bay restoration 😂😅

In the second photo, the hose clamps on the two trans cooler hoses... Are those Norma COBRA Spring Clamps? How are those working out? I'm doing a major under-hood refresh as well and just ordered a whole bunch of those clamps to use on all the smaller (under 25mm) hoses. I've used Oetiker clamps before but thought I would take a gamble with the Norma clamps, given that they are easier to remove and apparently, can be reused (?).

Yeah they are the Norma cobra clamps. Shop add them locally and priced good. Was going to back and fourth and couldn’t find the proper constant tension clamps and used these. They have been holding up great so far for the past 6 months and about 3000 miles so far. They did remove very easily so I was hesitant using them but so far so good. Also had to buy the specific pliers which costed way more then all the clamps but just wanted to wrap up the project.
