Rightio been a while since ive update this, only because the old cruiser have been doing what it does best, chugging along!!!

Only things i have done are toped up the engine oil and power steering oil (have small leaks in the power steering hose i think), and today replaced the front and rear pinion seals.

Oh and because everyone loves a photo here it is doing its primary task, towing my skyline

how does this beast go as a tow vehicle, really tempted to get one as a tow/daily.

Looks to be treating you very well?

Hi mate, sorry about the late reply!

Its fantastic as a tow rig. As a daily, has never let me know and is a joy to drive every day too.

Have just towed 3 tonne over 1000kms and didnt miss a beat. Only thing that happened was a rear pinion seal blowout. Very happy that it went so well.

In light of that, next on the list is replace the OEM seals again but this time with Marlin Crawler pinion seals, replace the diff breathers and have them go into the engine bay.

Once i get it registered in my new state of Victoria ill rebuild the brakes front and rear.

This is what 3 tonne looks like, 1.8 of wagon, 0.9 of trailer the rest of 4 people and both cars full of stuff!

Actually nothing wrong with the wagon just cant drive two haha!! Bluddy good family car that one.

RB25DET with all associated kit along with it, goes bluddy well

Massive thread dig however never wrapped this up. Sold the cruiser mid 2015 and bought an AWD V8 dual cab ute. Although thats now for sale and i think ill be in another HJ61 in a week or so, will post up a thread when I have it!!
