I believe that’s what I already have and the fit isn’t great. The pulley is damn near touching the thermostat housing and the whole thing is misaligning the belt as far as I can tell. The F135 water pump in NLA. I think the most common solution is to adapt a water pump from the F155, you can still find those. Here's a link to some oem pumps that work, I just put one of these on my F135.

That might be the ticket. Do you know of any rebuild kits?If you're looking for an original F135 water pump core to try and rebuild, I might be able to help you there.
No rebuild kits that I could find. You might be getting into some machining of the pump housing to adapt some different bearings and seals, because I don't think the exact part numbers you need for a rebuild exists anywhere. That might be the ticket. Do you know of any rebuild kits?
Damn those are pricey.I have seen a few on eBay, not cheep.

These pumps are hard to find. Someone figured out that an old Willy's rebuild kit is the same as these early TEQ pumps so if you can find a re-buildable one, you might be in luck. I'm not sure if this kit will fit the GMB. I'll see if I can find the thread.
I just went through what you are trying to do, i.e. go back to the early style. You'll need the early coolant pipe also. Here's some pics from my thread: PNW 67 Patina Blue - https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/pnw-67-patina-blue.1289865/page-10#post-14801453
There's another user also trying to solve the close clearance issue recently. @VA Mountain FJ40 I think? Sorry if I pinged the wrong person.
Also, the later style pump it about 1/4" thicker that the early style. Your alternator bracket hasn't been banged on, so what's with the stack of washer on your alternator bracket? That would put you way out of alignment by quite a bit with the washers in there.
Actually, it looks like you have the alternator bracket on the wrong side. It's supposed to be on the back side, with the bolt going through the bracket into the alternator from behind. But to get this to align with the later pump, you'll need to beat on that bracket to find 1/4" of room.
Good call out I actually just realized this the other day reading yours or @VA Mountain FJ40’s thread.Actually, it looks like you have the alternator bracket on the wrong side. Found one. Got an old GMB unit from @red66toy! Now I need to find a rebuild kit or an affordable rebuilder... Anyone know if there is an existing kit that will work?
