Looking to buy a Knuckle rebuild kit for my 79 Aussie Troopy. Im finging out that the 79 non US is like a 75-77 US FJ40 parts wise..... on some things not others
Any ideas which kit?

Not much info on MUD for a Non-US Aussie Troopy
Trust me HOURS of searching and reading

Im also buying the bolt on disk kit from JT Outfitter as I have drum on all 4 wheels

Just about to finish the motor rebuild and crank her up for the first time this week

I'll be selling my split rim 16's in a few weeks too if anyone is looking

Trying to get to Gilmer, Texas for the Lone Star Jamboree May 4-6

check the bolt pattern on top of the steering arms, large pattern would take the 79+ kit even tho you have drums.
I don't have the measurements at work, someone may have them before I get home.

there are better disc setups than the JT kit

Call Georg at6505762023 Valley Hybrids @orangefj45 he sells good quality Terrain Tamer products and can tell which kit you need.

Any ideas on front disk?

FJ60 knuckles out setup use your existing steering arms, 79+ 40 axle you'd need to change the diff, mini truck knuckles out use your existing steering arms

I believe you might b surprised to find you already have fine spline birfs and only need knuckles. Tear it apart and post pics.

I have a set of mini truck knuckles available if that’s all you need.

Did this get sorted? I just went through this down undahhh.
